- Generally unknown. Program was given to the Off-Campus Life office in the Student Activities Office in Fall 2012 after being coordinated by SAO for at least two years.
There is a small record (scrapbooks and journals) of trips previous to 2010, but details are very limited (number of participants, campus partnerships, leadership structure, etc.).
Since 2011, we've sent about 100 students total to seven different locations to address the following issues:
-Crow Agency, MT (Native American Education)
-Tucson, AZ (Immigration)
-Kanab, UT (Animal Sanctuary)
-Washington, D.C. (Hunger/Homelessness)
-Los Angeles, CA (Domestic Violence)
-Catalina Island, CA (Environment/Sustainability)
-San Francisco, CA (Domestic Violence/Homelessness)
The program is coordinated by one professional staff member, one undergraduate student coordinator, and each trip is led by two, undergraduate, co-site leaders. Trips range in size from 5 - 12 participants.
