Since 2009, URI students have been spending their spring break doing service for the community in Rhode Island and throughout the country. URI Service Corps is completely student run. The student leaders work together to create a trip focused on perspective gaining and service. Alternative Break trips offer unique opportunities to engage college students in real-world experiences within a supportive group setting. Each trip has Trip Advisers as well, which are trusted and experienced staff and alumni. The collaboration of Student leaders and Trip Advisers create a safe, engaging, powerful, inspiring, productive, and fun trip!
